First wife Anne Bourgeois was born Abt. 1678 at Port Royal, Acadia, and died Bet. 1703–1706 in Acadia.  They were married Abt. 1695 at Port Royal, Acadia.

- 1752 Ile St. Jean census: Michel Grossin, fisherman and ploughman, native of Carolle, bishopric of Avranche, aged 47 years, he has been in the country 25 years. Married to Marie Caissy, native of l'Acadie, aged 44 years. They have nine children, three sons and six daughters: Jacques Grossin, aged 13 years, Louis, aged 10 years, Michel, aged 6 years, Marie Louise, aged 18 years, Marie, aged 16 years, Henriette, aged 7 years, Brigitte, aged 4 years, François, aged 3 years, Marie Magdelaine, aged 6 months.  They have in stock two oxen, one cow, one calf, ten wethers, two pigs, and six fowls. The land upon which they are settled is situated to the south of the ponds of Saint-Pierre. On it they have made a clearing for the sowing of thirty-two bushels, one part of which they have sown with eight bushels.

- 23 January 1759: Marie Caissy, widow, and children Jacques, Michel, Marie, Henriette, Brigitte, Francoise & Modeste disembarked at St. Malo from one of the ‘Five Ships’.  They lived in Parame 1759-1764.

- Remarried, Marie and family lived in St. Malo 1764-1769, and St. Servan 1770-1772.

- 1752 Ile St. Jean census: Pierre Grossin, fisherman and ploughman, native of the parish of Carolle, bishopric of Avranche, aged 44 years, he has been in the country for 25 years. Married to Cecille Caissy, native of l'Acadie, aged 38 years.  They have eight children, three sons and five daughters: Michel Grossin, aged 18 years, Jacques, aged 8 years, Pierre, aged 7 years, Cecille, aged 15 years, Magdelaine, aged 14 years, Anne, aged 12 years, Marguerite, aged 6 years, Rose, aged 3 years. Their live stock consists of two oxen, three cows, three bulls, two heifers, one calf, one horse, eleven wethers, four pigs, and three fowls.  The land upon which they are settled is situated at les Etangs, and was granted to them by Messieurs de Pensens and Dubuisson and homolgated by Messieurs Duquesnel and Bigot. It contains four arpents frontage by fourty in depth. They have made on it a clearing for the sowing of fourty-five bushels of seed, but they have only sown five bushels of wheat and eight bushels of peas.

- 23 January 1759: Pierre Grossin, wife Cecile Caissy and children Jacques, Louis, Cecile, Madeleine, Anne, Marguerite, Marie Louise & Rose disembarked at St. Malo from one of the ‘Five Ships’.  They lived in Parame 1759-1763, and St. Servan 1763-1764.

- 18 April 1764: Nicholas Bouchard, wife Cecile Caissy, their children Nicholas & Marie Bouchard, and her children Anne, Marguerite, Jacques & Louis left France on the ship Le Fort to reside at Cayenne.

Notes for Madeleine Caissie:

- 23 January 1759: Madeleine Caissy, wife of Louis LeMonnier disembarked with her children at St. Malo from one of the ‘Five Ships’.  Her husband Louis was at the siege of Louisbourg.  In 1763 Louis arrived at St. Malo from prison in England.  The family lived in St. Malo 1759-1760, Parame 1761-1763, and St. Malo 1764.

- 18 April 1764: The family left France on the ship Le Fort to live at Cayenne.

- 1752 Ile St. Jean census: Michel Caissy, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 38 years, he had been in this country two years. Married to Margueritte Henry, native of l'Acadie, aged 21 years.  They have two daughters: Marie Caissy, aged 3 years; Marie Genevieve, aged one year.  Their live stock consists of one heifer, one sow, three pigs, and one hen.  The land upon which they are settled is situated on the south shore of the Rivière du Nord-Est, and was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. They have made a clearing on it of two arpents in extent where they have sown two bushels and a half of wheat, and a half of peas.

- 23 January 1759: Michel Caissy, wife Marguerite Henry and daughter Ozite disembarked at St. Malo from one of the ‘Five Ships’.  They lived in St. Servan 1759-1772.

- 1752 Ile St. Jean census:  Charles Poitier, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 27 years and has been in the country three years.  Married to Marie Blanche Caissy, native of l'Acadie, aged 26 years.  They have Modeste Poitier, their daughter, aged 3 years.  In live stock they have two oxen, two bulls, one cow, one wether, two ewes, one sow, three pigs, and seven fowl.  The land upon which they are settled is situated as in the preceeding case and was given them by Monsieur Benoist. They have made no clearing on it for similar reasons to those already given in other cases. They have made a clearing in the Crown lands for sowing eight bushels of seed.

Notes for Paul Caissie:

- 1752 Ile St. Jean census: Paul Caissy, bachelor, fisherman and ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 21 years, has been three years in the country.  In stock he has two cows, one calf, and five pigs.  The land he occupies is situated to the south quarter south-west of the ponds of Saint-Pierre. He acquired the said land for the sum of 100 livres from Christophle Delanne, his brother-in-law on the 15th of May in the present year. There is a clearing on it for the sowing of twenty-four bushels of grain, but none has been sown, he not having any.

- 21 August 1759: Paul Caissy, widower, and son Paul arrived at St. Malo from Cherbourg.  He lived in St. Servan 1759-1760, and Parame 1760-1763.
