Raymond Joseph Peets: New Hampshire Sunday News (Manchester, NH), Sunday, 9 October 1955: Keene, Oct. 8 - Raymond J. Peets of 11 Bridge court, a resident of this city for many years, died in Elliot Community hospital Friday afternoon following an illness of a few weeks. Mr. Peets was born in Ellenburg, N.Y., June 7, 1907. He came to this city with his parents as a child and for many years had been employed by the Princess Shoe company. He married Fedora Dore in this city, Nov. 28, 1928, and she survives him, together with two sons, Paul R. Peets, U.S.A., and Floyd Peets; three daughters, Shirley, wife of Arnold Croteau, Colleen, wife of Clayton Leclair, and Gloria, wife of George Bills of Panama; two brothers, Wesley of Keene and Roy of Athol, Mass.; three sisters, Miss Esmerild Peets and Mrs. Bessie Punt, both of Keene, and Mrs. Dorothy O'Brien of East Swanzey; four grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from his home Monday morning, followed by a solemn high requiem mass in St. Bernard church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery.
