James Albert Pitre: North Bay Nugget (North Bay, ONT), Saturday, 10 January 1970: A North Bay resident, a retired section foreman with the ONR, James Albert Peters, R.R. 2, died in hospital Friday following a lengthy illness. He was 69. Friends may pay their respects at the McGuinty Funeral Home after 7 p.m. today. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Monday at 9:30 a.m. and interment will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery. James Peters was born Nov. 22, 1900 at Hope River, Prince Edward Island, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lionel Peters. His marriage to the former Lumina Hebert took place at Val Gagne in 1923 and the family moved to North Bay 10 years ago. A 25-year employee of the ONR, Mr. Peters had formerly lived in Parry Sound, Athens, Ont. and Monteith. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Leo of North Bay, Ronald of Mansfield, Ohio and Ernest of Chrysler, Ont., as well as two daughters Mrs. John Gill (Lillian) of Brockville and Mrs. Douglas Perkins (Anita) of Jellyby, Ont.
Mary Ann Pitre: Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Thursday, 12 August 1954: Gormley - In the Charlottetown Hospital on Wednesday, August 11, 1954, Mrs. James Gormley of 58 King St., Charlottetown, in her 39th year. Remains are resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home from where the funeral will take place on Friday morning at 8:45 to St. Dunstan's Basilica for Requiem High Mass. Interment in the Catholic Cemetery.

Francois Xavier Pitre: Saint John Times Globe (St. John, NB), Wednesday, 15 January 1964: The death of Frank Peters of 1 Union Place occurred in the Saint John General Hospital Monday evening following a brief illness. Mr. Peters, in his 76th year, was born in Prince Edward Island. He resided in Saint John for the last 45 years. Surviving are three sons, Joseph, Valmore and Leonard, all of Saint John; three daughters, Mrs. Gordon Alberts and Mrs. Ernest Bushpan, both of Saint John, and Mrs. Renee Belleau, Quebec; a brother, Joseph of Prince Edward Island; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The body is resting at Fitzpatrick's Funeral Home, from where the funeral will be held Friday morning at 8:45 to the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception for high mass of requiem at 9 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
