Moses Peters:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Friday, 27 October 1939:  Peters - At the Prince County Hospital Oct. 26, 1939, Moses Peters of Richmond, aged 75.  Funeral Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from his late residence to Grand River Church.

Philomena Peters:  The Guardian (PEI), Saturday, 9 May 1953:  Death Wednesday of Mrs. Joseph Buote - The death occurred on Wednesday morning, May 6th at the home of her brother, Mr. Ben Peters, St. Roch, of Mrs. Joseph Buote, formerly Philomene Peters, in her 85th year.  The deceased, who had been in failing health for the past five years, had been tenderly cared for by her relatives.  Her husband predeceased her several years ago.  The funeral services were held Friday morning, May 8th at 9 o'clock with Requiem High Mass at St. Simon and St. Jude Church, Tignish, by Rev. J. A. MacDonald.  The services at the grave were conducted by Rev. Denis Gallant.  Pall bearers were: Messrs. Peter J. Blanchard, Peter M. Blanchard, Alphonse Blanchard, Jerome DesRoches, Arthur Chaisson and Orville Buote.

 

Jerome Peters:  The Lowell Sun (Lowell, MA), Monday, 22 October 1934:  North Andover, Oct. 22 - Max A. Friedman of Haverhill was held in $500 bail for the grand jury at a hearing today in police court on a charge of manslaughter and reckless driving.  Police allege that Friedman's car caused the death here on October 12 of Jerome Peters, 65-year-old resident of this town.  Friedman pleaded not guilty to both charges.
