Obituaries for the children:

Louis Philippe Pitre:  State Times Advocate, Baton Rouge, Monday, 8 February 1937 - Louis Philip Pitre - Plaquemine, La., Feb. 8 - Burial of Louis Philip Pitre, who died Wednesday morning at his home in Addis, following a short illness of pneumonia, was conducted in Thibodaux Thursday.  Services were conducted at the Brusly Catholic church, with the funeral cortege proceeding to Thibodaux.  Mr. Pitre was a native of Thibodaux, but had resided in Addis for a number of years.  He had been engaged in the meat business but had retired several years ago.  He was 76 years of age.  He is survived by a widow and seven children.

 

Marie Josephine Pitre:  Times Picayune, 8 October 1945 - On Saturday, October 6, 1945, at 5:20 o'clock p.m., Josephine Pitre, beloved wife of Ernest Chaisson, mother of Mrs. Gilbert Trosclair, Mrs. Steve Prestenbach, Ernest, Octave, Louis and Nobert Chaisson, a native of Lafourche parish, La.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services on Monday, October 8, 1945, at 8:45 o'clock a.m. from the Westside Funeral Home, Avenue D and Fifth street, Westwego, La.  Interment in Westwego, La.
