Obituaries for the children:

Francis J. Pitre:  The Northern Light (NB), 4 October 1929:  Frank J. Pitre of West Bathurst, who died after a fall on Oct 2, 1929, fell from a barn he was dismantling in Youghal with his brother Israel Pitre.  The barn belonged to Angus McLean.  One brother Israel; three sisters: Mrs. Wm Daigle, Mrs. Jos Doucet and Mrs. Maurice Hachey all of West Bathurst.    

 

Israel William Pitre:  The Northern Light (NB), 21 June 1951:  Israel Pitre of West Bathurst died June 12, 1951 at age 66, husband of Josephine Daigle, an employee of Bathurst P & P Co for 17 years.  Two daughters: Mina (Richard Christie) of West Bathurst and Irene (Edouard Godin) of Robertville; one son Alphonse of West Bathurst, and two sisters Mrs. Maurice Hachey and Mrs. Wm Daigle both of West Bathurst.  Funeral at Ste-Famille.
