Obituaries for the children:

Anne Pitre:  The Northern Light (NB), 6 June 1935:  Mrs. Alex A. Frenette died May 30, 1935 in Beresford at the age of 70, widowed for ten years.  Four daughters and three sons.  One sister Mrs. John Comeau of Beresford and one brother John Pitre in Bonaventure. (The Northern Light 6 June 1935 p 3).

 

Alexis 'Alexandre' Pitre:  The Leader Post (Regina, SASK), Saturday, 3 March 1928:  Wolseley, March 2 - Alexander Pitre died at his home in Wolseley Monday morning in his 59th year.  Deceased had been ill for some months and his death was not unexpected.  He was a native of New Brunswick.  He came West and settled in Sintaluta a number of years ago where he married Florence Flunk.  Four years ago they moved to Wolseley and settled on a farm near town.  Besides his widow, Mr. Pitre leaves to mourn him, three sons and five daughters.  Another daughter died last fall.  The funeral was held Wednesday morning, service being conducted by the Rev. Fr. Poirier at St. Ann's church.  Interment was made in Wolseley Roman Catholic Cemetery.
