Obituary: The Leader Post (Regina, SASK), Saturday, 3 March 1928: Wolseley, March 2 - Alexander Pitre died at his home in Wolseley Monday morning in his 59th year. Deceased had been ill for some months and his death was not unexpected. He was a native of New Brunswick. He came West and settled in Sintaluta a number of years ago where he married Florence Flunk. Four years ago they moved to Wolseley and settled on a farm near town. Besides his widow, Mr. Pitre leaves to mourn him, three sons and five daughters. Another daughter died last fall. The funeral was held Wednesday morning, service being conducted by the Rev. Fr. Poirier at St. Ann's church. Interment was made in Wolseley Roman Catholic Cemetery.

Obituary: The Leader Post (Regina, SASK), Saturday, 3 April 1937: Mrs. Alexander Pitre Dies at Wolseley - Wolseley, Sask., April 3 - Florentine Klunck, wife of the late Alexander Pitre, passed away at her home in Wolseley, early Tuesday morning after an illness lasting several months. Mrs. Pitre was born in Alsace-Lorraine Nov. 23, 1874, and came to Canada in 1893. April 23, 1895, she married Mr. Pitre, living at Sintaluta until 1922 when they came to Wolseley. Deceased was a member of the Roman Catholic Church. She was a very fine neighbor and made many friends. Mr. Pitre died in February, 1928. The funeral was held Thursday morning with service at St. Anne's church and interment at St. Anne's cemetery. Surviving are seven daughters and three sons, Mrs. J. F. Hogan, of Beatie, Sask.; Alex and Alphonse, of Wolseley; Mrs. T. McLaughlin, of Kindersley; Myrtle, of Wolseley; Mrs. Wm. Wolsey, of Drumheller, Alta.; Joseph, Catherine and Madeline, of Wolseley.

Mr. Pitre is survived by his wife, Louise, one daughter, Mrs. Jim (Leona) Herman, Winnipeg, one son, Ed, Calgary, five grandchildren, one brother, Joe Pitre, Sintaluta, four sisters, Louise Burns, Red Deer, Myrtle Allen and Madeleine Bieber, Wolseley, Catherine Briere, Lafleche. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 1976 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Rosary Auditorium with Rev. J. Reidy officiating. Interment in Regina Memorial Gardens. Prayers will be held on Friday evening at 9:00 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel.
Joseph Alphonse Pitre: La Liberte et le patriote (SASK), 12 April 1963: Wolseley - On March 13, Mr. Alphonse Pitre, aged 60 years, died of a heart attack at his home. The funeral took place in the church of Ste. Anne, filled to capacity with relatives and friends from afar and near to pay tribute to the regretfully departed. Mr. l'abbe F. Marcotte, cure of Wolseley, made the collection of the body and sang the funeral service. Mr. l'abbe J. A. Foisy, of Montmartre, and former parish of Wolseley, was present at the sanctuary. The burial took place at the local cemetery, where his parents rest. The bearers were: Yvon DeDecker, Albert Levesque, Jerome and Henri Doiter, Jim McClaughlin, and Leo Roy, all nephews and cousins of the deceased. The honorary bearers were: Charles Bieber, Arthur Dahlman, Emile Tourigny, Ben Schneider, Emile Souchotte and Henri Coursian. Emile Tourigny and Emile Souchotte made the quest. Biography: Mr. Pitre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Pitre, was born in Sintaluta in December 1903. In 1928, he married Miss Romanie DeDecker, from Montmartre, and they came to settle on a farm in Wolseley. From their union, two children were born, a son, Edwin, of Yorkton, and a daughter, Adeline (Mrs. E. Klein) of Regina. The deceased leaves in the bereavement, in addition to his wife and children, eight grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Louise Burns, of Kindersley, Myrtle (Mrs. Tom Allen), Madeleine (Mrs. Bill Bieber), of Wolseley, and Catherine (Mrs. Henri Briere) of Lafleche; two brothers, Alex. of Regina, and Joseph, of Sintaluta.

Marie Florentine Eva Pitre: The Leader Post (Regina, SASK), Saturday, 16 October 1926: Wolseley, Oct. 15 – The funeral of Eva May Pitre, 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Pitre, who died in Regina, was held Monday, Rev. Father Poirier officiating. A large crowd gathered to pay their last respects to the girl. Many floral tributes covered the casket. The funeral was held from the Roman Catholic church, to the Catholic cemetery.
