Marie Eliska Pitre:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 6 September 1961:  Of Belle Chasse, La., on Tuesday, September 5, 1961 at 7:55 o'clock a.m., Eliska Pitre, beloved wife of the late Adam Babin, mother of Mrs. John Ates, daughter of the late Camilla Dorcey and John Pitre, sister of Willie and Odressie Pitre and the late Mrs. Mary Babin, Mrs. Paul Smith and Wilson Pitre; also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, aged 83 years, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Belle Chasse, La. for the past 22 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Services from Mothe Funeral Homes, Inc., 2100 West Bank Expressway, Harvey, La., on Wednesday, September 6, 1961, at 8:15 o'clock a.m.  Requiem Mass at Holy Rosary church, Houma, La., at 10:30 a.m.  Interment in St. Francis de Sales cemetery, Houma, La.

 

Marie Josephine Pitre:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 21 March 1960:  On Saturday, March 19, 1960, at 11:30 o'clock p.m., Mary Pitre, aged 78 years, beloved wife of Henry Babin; mother of Hewitt, Robert and the Reverend Enos Babin, C.S.S.R., Louis and Miller Babin, sister of Mrs. Eliska Babin, William and Odressie Pitre and also the late Emma Smith and Wilson and Nitte Pitre; also survived by nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Pan-American Furniture Factory, Heebe Bakery and congregation and altar society of Redemptorist parish, are invited to attend the funeral from the home of E.J. Ranson and Sons, Inc., 1024 Elysian Fields Ave., on Monday, March 21, 1960 at 9:30 o'clock a.m.  Services at St. Alphonsus church.  Interment in St. Francis De Sales cemetery, Houma, La.

 

Marie Nettie Pitre:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Friday, 2 November 1906: Young Girl Found Dead - Houma, La., Nov. 2 - Miss Nellie Pitre, fifteen-year-old daughter of Jean Pitre, was found dead in bed yesterday, from natural causes.  The remains were interred in the Catholic Cemetery.
