Obituary: The Courier (Houma, LA), Tuesday, 6 April 1971: Willie Joseph Pitre, 85, expired Monday, April 5. He was a resident of 206 Pitre St. He is survived by one brother, Odressie Pitre. Funeral services will be today, April 6, at 2 p.m., from Chauvin Funeral Home to Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will be in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 1. Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
