Obituary:  Springfield Union (MA), Friday, 11 September 1959:  Holyoke - Peter Pete of 109 Bowers St., died suddenly Thursday night.  Police and ambulance attendants of the M&D Ambulance Service responded to an emergency call.  Medical Examiner Edmund J. Zielinski said death resulted from an acute heart attack.  Funeral arrangements are in charge of the A. J. Brunelle funeral home.

- Springfield Union (MA), Tuesday, 15 September 1959:  Funeral of Pierre Pete of 109 Bowers St. was Monday at the A. J. Brunelle funeral home, Holyoke, with a solemn high mass of requiem in Immaculate Conception Church.  Rev. Adrian Desmarais was celebrant, Rev. Joseph Labonte, deacon, and Rev. John Pellissier, subdeacon.  Bearers were Mitchell and Joseph Pete, Fred Peterson, Norman Daigle, Roland Gregoire, and Donald Tatrault.  Burial was in Notre Dame Cemetery.  Fr. Desmarais read prayers at the grave.

Obituary:  Springfield Union (Springfield, MA), Wednesday, 25 May 1960:  Mrs. Pierre Pete.  Holyoke - Mrs. Amanda (Maud) (Daigle) Pete of 109 Bowers St. died Tuesday afternoon in Providence Hospital.  She was born in Canada and was a resident of this city for the last 50 years.  She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Sokoloski with whom she lived, Mrs. Albert Tetreault and Mrs. Walter Bujnicki, both of Southampton; two sons, Wilbur of Fairview and Rolland of this city; two brothers, Honore and Joseph, both in Canada; one sister, Mrs. Napoleon Houde also of Canada.  She was the widow of Pierre Pete.  The funeral will take place at the A. J. Brunelle funeral home Friday at 8.15 with solemn requiem high mass in Immaculate Conception Church at 9.  Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.  Calling hours at the funeral home are today and Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.

Leona Marie Pete:  Union News (Springfield, MA), Tuesday, 26 January 1999:  Holyoke - Leona M. (Pete) Tetreault, 88, of this city, died Sunday at the Mont Marie Health Care Center.  She worked for several years at Holyoke Wire and Cable Co. and retired in 1973.  She was born in Danielson, Conn., and schooled in New York.  She lived here for 60 years.  Her husband, Albert Tetreault, died in 1984.  She leaves a son, Donald A. of Southampton; a daughter, Jeanne M. Gibbard of Evergreen, Colo.; two sisters, Anette Bujnicki of Southampton and Doris Sokoloski of Westfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.  The funeral will be Wednesday morning at Holy Cross Church, with burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley.  Messier Funeral Home is in charge.  There are no calling hours.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, West Springfield, MA.

Roland J. Pete:  Union News (Springfield, MA), Tuesday, 16 March 1993:  Chicopee - Roland J. Pete, 78, of Chicopee, a retired maintenance worker at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, died Sunday at his home.  He retire in 1960.  Born in Morris, N.Y., he formerly lived in Holyoke.  He moved to Chicopee seven years ago.  He was a Navy veteran of World War II and served in the Pacific theater.  He was the husband of the late Geneva M. (Krol) Pete, who died in 1990.  He leaves a daughter, Nancy M. Solley of Chicopee; three sisters, Lee Tetreault of Holyoke, Annette Bujnicki of Southampton and Doris Sokolowski of Westfield, and four grandchildren.  A memorial Mass will be Wednesday for he and his wife in St. Rose de Lima Church in Chicopee's Aldenville section.  Burial will be in private.  There are no calling hours.  Starzyk Funeral Home, Chicopee, is in charge.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Holyoke.
