Misc.: Union Leader (Manchester, NH), Monday, 1 August 1955: Lewiston, ME - Fred Lepitre, 65, was hospitalized in critical condition today with injuries suffered when two youths beat and robbed him of $2,500 at his cottage in Lisbon. Lepitre, a retired lumber dealer, was found unconscious yesterday on the floor of his home. Police said he was found by a baker, Fred Collins of North Monmouth. Police said a partial description of the assailants matched with that of two men who stopped at a house in that area asking for a tow for their automobile. The beating was believed to have happened about 2 a.m. yesterday.
