Pitre, husband of Ezar Engeran, father of Raymond and Albert Pitre, Mrs. John Garay; brother of Mrs. Albert Babin, Mrs. Edward Trosclair, Mrs. Lillian Babin, Aubry, Irwin, Elbe, Harry, Curtis and Effie Pitre; the late Mrs. Anthony Chouest, son of Mrs. Maggie Pitre.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral at Chauvin funeral home, Houma, La., on Wednesday morning, June 20, 1956.  Due notice of time will be given.

Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 23 November 1946 - On Friday, November 22, 1946, at 9:55 o'clock a.m., Ezar Engeron Pitre, mother of Raymond and Albert Pitre, Mrs. Bernice Garay; daughter of Eva Smith and the late Charles Engeron; sister of Eugene Engeron; also survived by five grandchildren; a native of Houma, La., and a resident of this city.  Remains were forwarded from the Laudumier funeral home, 1225 North Rampart street, near Governor Nicholls, to Houma, La.  Funeral services will take place at Houma, La., on Saturday, November 23, 1946.

Jr., Ronnie and Ricky Pitre, Barbara (Bobbie) Lambert, Melissa Guidry, and the late Bernard and Robert Pitre.  Brother of Albert Pitre Sr., Bernice Garary, and the late Yvonne Schouest.  Son of the late Elcie and Ezar Engeron Pitre.  Also survived by 12 grandchildren.  Relatives and friends of the family, also employees and friends of B. J. Restaurant are invited to attend the Funeral from Westside Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, La. on Friday, October 6, 1989 at 11:45 A.M.  Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Houma, La at 1 o'clock P.M.  Interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Houma, La.  Visitation on Thursday, October 5, 1989 from 6 until 10 P.M.

Yvonne Rita Pitre:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 16 Jul 1942:  On Friday, July 17, 1942, at 5:20 o'clock a.m., Yvonne Rita Pitre, wife of Anthony Chouest, mother of Anthony Chouest Jr., daughter of Ezar Engeron and Elcie J. Pitre, sister of Mrs. John A. Garay, Raymond and Albert Pitre.  Remains were taken from the home of Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, Inc., 4127 S. Claiborne avenue, near Milan street, to Houma, La., for interment.  Services at the residence, 109 Leona street, on Saturday afternoon, July 18, 1942.

Albert Joseph Pitre:  The Daily Advertiser (Lafayette, LA), Friday, 12 November 1993:  (photo) Carencro - Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12, 1993 at Melancon Funeral Home Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel for Albert Joseph 'Lu-Lu' Pitre Sr., 68, who died 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 1993 at University Medical Center in Lafayette.  Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery in Scott.  The Rev. Garry Jordan, Pastor of First Baptist Church of Scott, will officiate.  A native of Houma, former resident of New Orleans and a resident of Scott since 1985, Mr. Pitre was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott.  Mr. Pitre is survived by: his wife, the former Deborah Broussard of Scott; one son, Albert 'Bay' Pitre Jr. of Covington; one daughter, Mrs. Milton (Yvonne 'Sis') Berry of Luling; one stepson, Kevin Joseph Stein of Scott; one stepdaughter, Shelly Ann Stein of Scott; one stepsister, Bernice Gray of Westwego; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by: his parents, Elcie Pitre and the former Ezar Bergeron; one brother, Raymond Pitre; and a sister, Yvonne P. Schouest.  Pallbearers will be: Albert 'Bay' Pitre Jr., Kevin Stein, Shelly Stein, Wayne Berry, Milton Berry and Lawrence Menard.  Visitation was 4-10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, 1993 at Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel.  The chapel will reopen 8 a.m. today until time of services.  The Melancon Funeral Home, Carencro is in charge of arrangements.
