Obituary: Norma Pitre. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma for Norma "Soso" Savoie Pitre, 69, a native of Houma and resident of Chauvin, who died at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 3 (1993). Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was the mother of Raymond Jr., Ron and Rickey Pitre and Barbara “Bobbie” Lambert, all of Westwego, and Melissa "Lisa" Guidry of Chauvin; sister of Hilbert Jr., Roland, Gerald and Gary Savoie, all of Luling, and Dot Clark of Texas. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Pitre Sr.; parents, Hilbert and Ezar Marie Savoie; two sons, Bernard and Robert Pitre; and two sisters, Gloria Roberts and Beverly Savoie. Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
