Obituary:  Times Picayune, 24 May 1959 - At the residence, Mathews, La., on Friday, May 22, 1959, at 10:50 o'clock p.m., Joseph Clarene Pitre, beloved husband of Ismae Savoie, father of Mrs. Ferdinand Bourgeois, Mrs. Earl Broussard, Mrs. Louis Eschete, Mrs. Gilbert Touro, Mrs. Lionel Chiasson and Anna Mae, Floyd, Donald, Hudson and Robert Pitre.  Survived by 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.  Age 66 years.  Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral, which will take place from the Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc., Raceland, La., on Sunday, May 24, 1959 at 3 o'clock p.m.  Services at the Holy Savior Catholic church, Lockport, La.  Interment in Holy Savior Catholic cemetery.  Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc., Raceland, La., in charge.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Monday, 17 June 1985:  Funeral services were scheduled for 10 a.m. today from St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews for Ismae Savoie Pitre, 87, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Raceland, who died at 5 a.m. Saturday (15th).  She is survived by three sons, Donald, Hudson and Robert (Bobby) Pitre; five daughters, Mrs. Ferdinand (Gert) Bourgeois, Mrs. Earl (Genevieve) Broussard, Mrs. Lionel (Marion) Chaisson, Mrs. Louis (Florence) Eschette, and Mrs. Gilbert (Emma Louise) Touro; one brother, Louis Savoie; and one sister, Eugenie Hebert. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Pitre; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Savoie; one son, Floyd Pitre; one daughter, Mrs. George (Anna Mae) Breaux; three brothers, Eugene, John and Onezite Savoie; and one sister, Victorie Pitre.  Interment will be in Holy Savior Cemetery in Lockport. Falgout Funeral Home of Lockport is in charge of arrangements.

Sapia, Bonnie B. Bouvier and Annette Bourgeois; two sisters, Marion Chiasson and Emma Louise Touro; 11 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Fernand J. Bourgeois; her parents, Clarence and Victoria Savoie Pitre; her stepmother, Ismae Savoie Pitre; two daughters, Patricia Bourgeois and Frances B. Babin; six brothers, Floyd, Hudson, Donald, Bobby, Leslie and Gerald Pitre; and four sisters, Genevieve Broussard, Florence Eschette, Anna Mae Breaux and Frances Pitre.  She was a lifetime honorary member of the Council of Catholic Women of St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pitre; three sisters, Gertrude Bourgeois, Emma Louis Touro and Marion Chiasson; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Leo Eschette, Sr.; her parents, Clarence and Ismae Savoie Pitre, five brothers, Floyd, Hudson, Robert, Joseph and Gerald Pitre; four sisters, Genevieve Broussard, Anna Mae Breaux, and Frances and Marie Pitre; and one great-grandchild, name not provided.  She was a parishioner of St. Hilary Catholic Church in Mathews.

 

Emma Louise Pitre:  Emma Pitre Touro, 91, a native of Lockport, died on Saturday, November 12, 2016.  Mass of Christian burial at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Mathews with burial in the church mausoleum.  She was survived by her niece and caretaker and numerous other nieces, nephews and godchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert P. Touro; parents, Clarence and Ismae Savoie Pitre; siblings, Gertrude Bourgeois, Genevieve Broussard, Florence Eschette, Marion Chiasson, Anna Mae Breaux, Frances, Anna, Donald, Floyd, Hudson, Bobby, Leslie, and Gerald Pitre.  She was a lifetime member of Raceland Memorial American Legion and VFW Auxiliary.  Falgout Funeral Home.
