Funeral services will be held Friday, August 11 at 10 a.m. from St. Ann's Catholic Church with interment in St. Ann's cemetery. Mrs. Pitre was the former Annie Martin and is survived by six daughters, Mesdames Cornelia Falgout, Ruby LeBleu, of Bourg; Inez Belanger, of New Orleans, Neville Eschete, Chauvin, Richard Richards, Atlanta, and Arthur Dupre, of Houma. One son, Clarence Pitre, preceded her in death. Also listed among her survivors are 32 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
