Other Notes:

From a posting on ancestry.com by a descendant:

Aunt Mabel Remembers - Her grandmother Zoe Cicotte Peters died of cholera in 1854, followed by her son Barnabus 16 days later.  Both are buried in the same plot in Detroit's Mt. Elliot Cemetery.  Other related graves are Jean Baptiste Pitre and Zoe Cicotte's parents (originally at Ste. Anne's).  After Zoe's death, Jean remarried. They had Alex, William and Ida.  This second wife ran away with another man and took Ida with her.  Years later, based upon a search by Alex and William, Ida was reunited with her family.
