Alfred Napoleon 'Raphael' Pitre:  The Windsor Star (Ont), Thursday, 2 October 1958:  A resident of Tecumseh all his life, Ralph Pitre, 77, of 12030 Tecumseh Rd., died Tuesday at Hotel Dieu after a month's illness.  Mr. Pitre was born in Tecumseh, and was a member of St. Anne's Church, the Holy Name Society and the Canadian Order of Foresters.  He is survived by two sisters, Lizzie and Minnie at home; and a brother, Edward, in Tecumseh.  Funeral services will be held Saturday from the Marcotte Funeral Home, 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh at 8:30 a.m. to St. Anne's Church at 9 a.m.  Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Julie Melina 'Minnie' PitreThe Windsor Star (Windsor, ON), Saturday, 17 November 1962:  Minnie Pitre, 78, of 12226 Lesperance Rd., Tecumseh, died Friday after a brief illness.  She was born in Tecumseh and lived in the town all her life.  Miss Pitre was a member of the Catholic Women's League of Ste. Anne's Church in Tecumseh.  Surviving are a brother, Edward, and a sister, Elizabeth, both at home.  Funeral service will be Monday at 9 a.m. at Marcotte Funeral Home, Tecumseh, to Ste. Anne's Church for 9:30 requiem mass.

Henry Alexandre Pitre:  The Windsor Star (Ont), Friday, 3 November 1939:   Contractor Passes Away - Harry Pitre was lifelong resident of Tecumseh; Ill long time:  Harry Pitre, 52, of 318 Tecumseh road west, Tecumseh, died last night in Hotel Dieu Hospital, following a lengthy illness.  Mr. Pitre was born in Tecumseh and lived there all his life.  He was a carpenter and contractor.  He was a member of Ste. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Tecumseh.  Surviving are two brothers, Edward and Ralph Pitre, Tecumseh; and three sisters, Mrs. Israel Barron, Wyandotte, Mich.; and Miss Elizabeth and Miss Minnie Pitre, Tecumseh.  Funeral services will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock in the home, and at Ste. Anne's Church, Tecumseh, at 9:30 o'clock.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Prayers will be said tonight, Saturday and Sunday nights at 8 o'clock at the home.
