Obituary:  The Baytown Sun (Baytown, TX), Sunday, 22 December 1968:  Actor Pitre, 82, of 5433 Almeda-Genoa, Houston, died Friday morning in a Houston hospital.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 4577 and of the Holy Name Society.  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Theodile L. Pitre; three sons, Howard L. Pitre and Herbert W. Pitre, both of Baytown, and John W. Pitre of Texas City; four daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Boudloche of Baytown, Mrs. Eric V. Moody, Mrs. Mary B. Miller and Mrs. Dan J. Weber, all of Houston; and one brother, Noah Pitre of Overland, La.  Seventeen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren also survive him.  A Rosary was said at 8 p.m. Friday at the Earthman Gulf Freeway Chapel.  Funeral mass was said at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Saint Phillip Neri Catholic Church.  Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery.

Hilda Pitre:  Austin American Statesman (Austin, TX), Wednesday, 9 October 1991:  Mrs. Boudloche died Saturday, September 28, in a Baytown hospital.  Services for Hilda Boudloche, 81, of Baytown were held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 1, 1991, at St. John Catholic Church, with the Reverend John Fiedler officiating.  A resident of Baytown for 56 years, she was a member of St. John Catholic Church.  She was a graduate of the St. Joseph School of Nursing, and was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Sisters.  She was also active in a number of senior citizens group in the Baytown area.  Mrs. Boudloche was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd.  Mrs. Boudloche is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Cletus Sheppard of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Lloyd 'Buddy' and Lois Bouldloche of Austin and Mike and Cindy Bouldloche of Corpus Christi; brothers, Howard Pitre of Tarkinton, Herbert Pitre of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Wilkin Pitre of Santa Fe; sisters, Bess Miller and Betty Weber, both of Houston, and Anne Moody of Flynn; six grandchildren, including Laura and Amy Bouldoche of Austin; and dear and special friend, Frank Bachmeyer of Baytown.  In lieu of usual remembrances, donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis charities.

 

Annie Pitre:  Austin American Statesman (Austin, TX), Friday, 24 September 1999:  Annie P. Moody, 87, formerly of Houston and an Austin resident for six years, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 21, 1999.  She was the mother of Eric V. Moody Jr., and Kenneth Robert Moody, of Austin, Mary C. Crissman, of Houston and Elaine Moody of Houston/Galveston.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Eric V. Moody Sr. in 1991.  She was 'GiGi' to her 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, who will always remember her.  Her family will miss her very much.  Funeral services will be in Centerville, Texas, on Saturday, September 25, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at St. Leo's Catholic Church with burial following in Flynn, Texas, under the direction of Green-Walters Funeral home in Centerville.

John Wilkin Pitre:  The Galveston Daily News (Galveston, TX), Tuesday, 13 April 1993:  Nassau Bay - John W. Pitre, 75, of Nassau Bay died April 11, 1993 at his residence in Nassau Bay.  Service will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel of James Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson with Rev. Fr. John DeForke officiating.  Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 9am to 11am.  Born December 8, 1917 in Oberlin, Louisiana, Mr. Pitre was a retired office manager with Houston Natural Gas.  Mr. Pitre has resided in Nassau Bay for the last year, formerly of Santa Fe, Texas.  He served in the U.S. Airforce during WWII.  Survivors include his wife, Inez C. Pitre; daughter, Martha Jane Sills; sons, John Pitre, Jr. and David Evan Pitre; sisters, Ann Moody, Mary Miller and Betty Weber; brothers, Howard Pitre and Herbert Pitre; seven grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Hilda Bordlouche.
