Obituary:  Arkansas Democrat Gazette (Little Rock, AR), Thursday, 27 February 1997:  El Dorado - Herbert Winston Pitre, 83, died Tuesday.  Preceded in death by his wife, Marie Bardin Pitre.  Survivors include siblings, Bettye Weber, Ann Moody, Howard Pitre.  Services are Friday, 3 p.m., Young's Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Strong Cemetery.  Memorials, Immanuel Baptist Church Building Fund.

Obituary:  The Baytown Sun (Baytown, TX), Tuesday, 23 July 1985:  El Dorado, Ark. - Services for Marie B. Petrie, 72, formerly of Baytown, will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Youngs Funeral Home Chapel in El Dorado, Ark., with the Revs. Glen Morgan and David Weeks officiating.  Mrs. Petrie died Tuesday morning at an El Dorado hospital.  Mrs. Petrie lived in Baytown for many years and was retired from Exxon's Baytown Refinery.  She is survived by her husband, Herbert W. Petrie of El Dorado, Ark.; a brother, C. T. Bordin and a sister, Eron Dunn, both of El Dorado, Ark.  Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.  Burial will be at Strong Cemetery in Arkansas.  Arrangements are under direction of Youngs Funeral Home in El Dorado.
