Marguerite Loretta Peters: Cape Cod Times (Hyannis, MA), Friday, 2 June 2000: Miss Marguerite L. Peters, 89, a former resident of Hyannis, died Monday at the Milton Health Care Facility after a long illness. Born in Boston, Miss Peters was a World War II Army veteran, serving as a nurse with the 248th General Hospital Division. She received the World War II Victory Medal, Army of Occupation Medal, Japan-American Campaign Medal, European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, Philippines Liberation Medal and the Philippines Independence Ribbon. She worked for the Veterans Administration at the VA Hospital in Brockton. Private funeral and burial services will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
