Obituaries for the children:

Marie Pitre:  Sun  Journal (Lewiston, ME), Wednesday, 29 May 1935:  Mexico, May 29 - Ill a week Mrs. Mary Peters, 70, died at the home of her son on Osgood avenue, Monday night.  Mrs. Peters was born in Rustico, P.E.I.  Following the death of her husband, nine years ago, she came to Mexico to live with her son, Henry Peters.  She was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann and is survived by the son, with whom she resided, a step-son, John Peters, Manchester, N.H.; four step-daughters, Mrs. Arcade Croteau, Springfield, Mass.; Mrs. Julian Lambert, Manchester, N.H.; Mrs. Edward Hennessy, Charlottetown, P.E.I., and Miss Josephine Peters, Springfield, Mass.; a sister, Mrs. Daniel Curtis, Rumford; two brothers, Allaire and Napoleon Peters, P.E.I.; several grandchildren.

 

Fidele 'Hilaire' Pitre:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Monday, 28 April 1958:  Peters - At the home of his daughter, Mrs. William Aylward, Malpeque Road, on Sunday, April 27, 1958, Helaire Peters, formerly of Oyster Bed Bridge, in his 83rd year.  His remains were forwarded on Sunday afternoon from the Charlottetown Funeral Home to his late residence, Malpeque Road.  This afternoon at 3 o'clock his remains will be moved to his home in Oyster Bed Bridge.  Funeral notice later.

Isidore Henri Pitre:  The Minneapolis Star (Minneapolis, MN), Monday, 26 August 1946:  Isidore H. Peters, age 67, passed away at Long Lake, Minn.  Survived by wife, Mary; 2 sons, Raymond & Robert Peters, & 4 daughters, Mildred, Mrs. Dorothy Pollard, Mrs. Vincent Young, Mrs. Robert Short & 7 grandchildren, 2 brothers & 1 sister.  Friends may call at Pearson Funeral Home Mon. & Tues. at Maple Plain, Minn.  Service Wed. morning 10 o'clock at Our Lady of the Lake church, Mound, Minn.

 

Louis Napoleon Pitre:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Friday, 1 October 1954:  Peters - At his home in Oyster Bed Bridge, Thursday, Sept. 30, 1954, Napoleon Peters in his 74th year.  His remains will be transferred this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Charlottetown Funeral Home to his late residence from where the funeral will be held Saturday morning to St. Augustine's Church, South Rustico for Requiem High Mass at 9:30.  Interment in the church cemetery.

 

Olive M. Pitre:  Sun Journal (Lewiston, ME), Tuesday, 21 November 1978:  Rumford - Mrs. Olive M. Curtis, 93, died Sunday at her home at 1851 Southwest Third St., Miami, Fla., where she had resided the past 20 years.  She was formerly of Rumford where she had lived most of her life.  She was born July 17, 1885, in Prince Edward Island.  Mrs. Curtis was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Sodality, Rumford, and a communicant of St. John Bosco Church, Miami, Fla.  She was married in Rumford to the late Daniel C. Curtis who died March 2, 1961.  Surviving are a daughter, Miss Mary A. Curtis, and two sons, Charles and James Curtis, all of Miami, Fla.; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
