Obituary: Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Friday, 1 October 1954: Peters - At his home in Oyster Bed Bridge, Thursday, Sept. 30, 1954, Napoleon Peters in his 74th year. His remains will be transferred this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Charlottetown Funeral Home to his late residence from where the funeral will be held Saturday morning to St. Augustine's Church, South Rustico for Requiem High Mass at 9:30. Interment in the church cemetery.

Theresa May Peters: Central Queen’s Funeral Home: May Coffin, born in Oyster Bed Bridge and a long time resident of Montreal, passed peacefully into God's arms, while surrounded by her family, on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at her Beach Grove Home, age 86 years. She is survived by her three children, Betty Ann Wildeman (Jan), Arlene Luttrell and Norman (Darlene); grandchildren, William, Rebeccah and Sarah Luttrell, Taylor Kim Currie (Michael), and Laura Lake (Ken), who will sadly miss their nanny; and great-grandchildren, Angus Currie, Zoe and Miranda Lake, who will miss their great-nanny. May is also survived by sisters, Anita Doucette (Eric) and Gloria Primeau; brother, Alfred Peters; sister-in-law and best friend, Zeta Peters; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Peters; brother-in-law, Ronald Coffin; more than 45 nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. May was predeceased by Russell Wesley Coffin, her husband of 52 years; and by her Acadian parents, Louis "Napoleon" (1881-1954) and Juliette (Doucet) (1893-1988) Pitre. She was also predeceased by brothers, sisters and in-laws, Edgar and Louise (Gaudet) Peters, Alice and Harry Wotton, Regina and Ernest Blacquire, Stella and Henry Grant, Ferdinand and Stella (Blanchard) Peters, Louis Peters, Arthur Peters, Eileen (Gauthier) Peters, Rene Primeau, and Harry, Rowena and Doreen Coffin; son-in-law, David Luttrell; and great-grandson, Westley. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The C.W.L. will hold a prayer service at the funeral home prior to the visitation, at 4:30 p.m. The Cymbria Lionettes and St. Augustine's C.W.L are invited to attend as May was a member. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Church, Rustico, on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully declined. If so desired, donations to the Cymbria Lionettes for their Community Medical Fund would be appreciated.
