Obituary:  The Miami Herald (Miami, FL), Thursday, 24 January 1991:  Peters, Idabelle M., passed away January 15, 1991.  Precious mother of 5 children, Judy Stapleton, Robert Peters, Nancy Goldfein, David Peters and Suzanne Dietz; adored Nana of 8 grandchildren, Todd Sorren, Julie Dietz, Rebecca Magro, Tim True, Michelle Peters, Danielle Peters, Johnny Peters and Rachael Peters.  We love you forever.  Services were held.

 

Obituaries for the children:

Judith Miriam Peters:  South Florida Sun Sentinel (Fort Lauderdale, FL), Friday, 10 September 2004:  Stapleton, Judith Peters, went to heaven on September 8, 2004, after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born October 24, 1941, the daughter of Harold and Idabelle Peters.  Retired from Southern Bell after 38 years, leaving time for her favorite pastime...reading books, magazines, and visiting friends at the Plantation Diner.  She was known as a good hearted person by all her friends.  She worked at Helen B. Hoffman Library where she could read all the books she wanted.  She will be greatly missed by all her family.  She is survived by her sisters, Suzanne Dietz and Nancy (Sheldon) Baer; brothers, Robert (Karen) and David (Diane) Peters; loving nieces and nephews with their spouses and children.  Memorial service 3:30 PM Saturday, September 11, 2004 at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Gardens Home, where friends may call Saturday 2:00 PM to service time.
