Obituaries for the children:

Henry Pitre:  Daily World (Opelousas, LA), Sunday, 6 May 1984:  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the St. Peters Roman Catholic Church in Grand Prairie for Mr. Henry "Yan" Pitre, 76, who died at 9:30 p.m. Friday at Opelousas General Hospital after a short illness.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Survivors include his wife, the former Ivy Ortego of Grand Prairie; a son, Mervin Pitre of Opelousas; a daughter, Mrs. Lionel (Robbie) Briley of Opelousas; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a son, James Curtis.  The Lafond-Ardoin Funeral Home on North Main in charge of arrangements.
