22 December 1965 - Gardiner - Mrs. Eva Mary Purdy, 61, died Tuesday at
Thayer Hospital, Waterville. She was born in Waterville April 8, 1904 the
daughter of John and Emily Roi Peters. She is survived by her
husband, Carl M Purdy, Gardiner; one son, Donald, Gardiner; two
brothers, Albert J. Peters, New York City, and Lawrence L. Peters
Gardiner; two sisters, Mrs. Langdon Wilson, Hellertown Pa., and
Mrs. Alice Thornton, Gardiner; four grandchildren, one uncle; and several
nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9
a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
