Percy Neil Peters:  Tampa Bay Times (St. Petersburg, FL), Tuesday, 19 November 1974:  Peters, Percy N., 65, of 9333 Park Blvd., Seminole, died Sunday (Nov. 17, 1974).  A retired maintenance man for Mitchell Electric, he moved here six years ago from Westbrook, Maine.  Member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Seminole.  Survived by his wife Antoinette; three brothers, Raymond of Portland, Maine, Henry of S. Windham, Maine, and Ernest of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Mrs. Peggy Keene, Portland, Maine.  Baynard-Thompson Seminole Beach Memorial Funeral Home.

 

Joseph Henri Pitre:  Tampa Bay Times (St. Petersburg, FL), Sunday, 19 February 1989:  Peters, Henry J., 74, of Seminole, died Friday (Feb. 17, 1989) at Sun Coast Hospital, Largo.  Born in Montreal, Canada, he came here six years ago from Windham, Maine.  He was a cutter with Scott Paper Mill.  He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.  He was a member of American Legion Post 158, Seminole.  Survivors include three sons, Lawrence, West Buxton, Maine, Henry Jr., Sanford, Maine, and Robert, Burlington, Vt.; two brothers, Raymond, Port St. Lucie, and Ernest, Portland, Ore.; a sister, Margaret Keene, Portland, Maine; and four grandchildren.  International Chapels, Pinellas Park.

 

Raymond Edward Pitre:  Portland Press Herald (ME), Tuesday, 1 October 1996 - RAYMOND E. PETERS WORKED AT BAXTER SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF - Raymond E. Peters, 74, formerly of 425 Broadway died Sunday at a local nursing home after a long illness.  He was born in Westbrook, a son of Thomas and Minnie Degou Peters, and attended Westbrook schools.  During World War II, Mr. Peters served with the Army in the Philippines.  For more than 30 years he was employed by Governor Baxter School for the Deaf, and the Sportsman's Grill in Portland.  He retired in 1987.  Mr. Peters was a communicant of Holy Cross Church.  Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Bertha Demers Peters; three daughters, Judith A. Thibeault of Coral Springs, Fla., Patricia E. Peters of Westbrook and Andrea M. Bartnick of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; four sons, Thomas C., R. Scott and Russell E., all of Portland, and Richard L. of South Portland; a brother, Ernest of Oregon; and 10 grandchildren.  A memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Cross Church.  Arrangements by Conroy-Tully South Portland Chapel.
