Jean Luc Pitre:  Boston Globe (MA), Wednesday, 13 May 1987:  Peters - Of Reading, May 12, John.  Beloved husband of Marie Josephine (Gallant).  Father of George, Gerald, and Zella Longo, all of Wilmington, Reginald of Reading, Theresa Berard of CA, Marie Brown of Billerica, and Rose Brady of Methuen.  Brother of Fidele Peters of Canada.  Also survived by 33 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.  Funeral from the Joseph Doherty Funeral Home, 11 Linden Street, Reading, Thursday at 9 A.M.  Funeral Mass in St. Athanasius Church at 10:00.  Calling hours Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9.
