- 21 March 1913:  Ambroise Pitre to Sidney Pitre, 160 acres more or less, $275.00.

- 31 December 1915:  Little Bessie Pitre, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. Pitre who live east of Fenton, was taken to the Santarium

Saturday to be operated upon for appendicitis.  Miss Bessie who has been attending school in Welsh was taken sick quite suddenly.  We hope to see her back in school soon.

- 26 May 1916:  Mr. Harry Pitre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Pitre, who has just graduated from the Lafayette Industrial Institute, returned home Wednesday afternoon.

Obituary:  Beaumont Journal (TX), Thursday, 22 December 1938:  Lake Charles, La., Dec. 22 - Mrs. Ariese Senez, 57, died Thursday morning at 4:30 o'clock at her home in Fenton, La.  Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Fenton Catholic church with the Rev. Paul Fuselier officiating.  Burial will be in the LeBleu cemetery east of Fenton with the J.E. Hixson and Sons funeral home in charge.  Mrs. Senez was born September 22, 1881, in what was then the old Imperial Calcasieu parish.  She is survived by her husband, Frank Senez; one son, H.J. Pitre, Randolph Field, Texas; a daughter, Miss Bessie Mae Pitre, Fenton; one brother, Poley Hebert, Lake Charles; five sisters, Mrs. Tobe Marcantel, Mrs. Clodia Shannon, all of Lake Charles, Mrs. Nick Langley and Mrs. Jarvey Hebert, both of Fenton.

Harrison J. Pitre:  San Antonio Express (TX), Wednesday, 4 December 1968:  Col. Harry Joseph Pitre, USAF Ret. of 114 Northaven Drive, born in Fenton, Louisiana, June 11, 1899, passed away Tuesday December 3, 1968 at the age of 69 years.  Col. Pitre has lived in San Antonio for the past 37 years, was a member of the St. Mark's Methodist Church and is survived by his wife Mrs. Grace McRell Pitre of San Antonio; a sister, Mrs. Jasper (Bessie Mae) Pitre of Lake Charles, La.; a niece, Mrs. Joseph (Carole) Spano of Big Springs, Texas and an uncle, Mr. Sidney Pitre of Fenton, La.  Funeral services are pending and will be announced in later papers by a member of The Cude Family, Alamo Funeral Home.
