Michel Hebert was born Abt. 1666 at Port Royal, Acadia, and died 19 January 1736 at Grand Pre, Acadia.  Burial was 20 January 1735 at St. Charles aux Mines, Grand Pre.

 

Wife Isabelle Pellerin was born Abt. 1674 at Port Royal, Acadia, and died Aft. 1717.  They were married Abt. 1691 at Port Royal, Acadia.

Notes for Michel Hebert:

- 1752 Ile St. Jean census: Michel Hebert, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 50 years, and has been on this island three years. Married to Claire Boisseau, native of l'Acadie, aged 39 years.  They have eight sons and one daughter: Joseph Hebert, aged 22 years; Claude, aged 19 years; Pierre, aged 15 years; Benoist, aged 14 years; Aimable, aged 13 years; Jean, aged 10 years; Francois, aged 2 years; Joseph, aged 7 months; Marie Anne, aged 18 months.  They have in live stock four oxen, two cows, two heifers, three ewes, four sows, three pigs, and thirty fowls.  The land upon which they are settled is situated as in the preceding cases. It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. On the said land they have made a clearing of eleven arpents in extent where they have sown thirty-six bushels of wheat and one bushel and a half of peas.

- 1 November 1758: Children Francois 9, Joseph 7 & Michelle Marie 6 disembarked at St. Malo from the ship Le Duc Guillaume.  Within 2 weeks they had all died at the hospital in St. Malo.  Mother Claire Boisseau probably perished at sea.
