Wife Marie Brigitte Pinet was born Abt. 1719 in Acadia, and died 20 September 1774 at Archigny, Poitou, France.  Burial was 20 September 1774 at Archigny, Vienne.  They were married 24 October 1740 at St. Pierre du Nord, Ile St. Jean.

- Soldier of the company of Monsieur Dangeac

- 1752 census Ile St. Jean, Rivière de Peugiguit  (The Rivière de Peugiguit is situated on the south side of the Rivière du Nord-Est.), West Side: Louis Vallet dit Langevin, extremely poor, soldier formerly of the company of Monsieur Dangeac, native of the town of Angers, aged 47 years, has been 19 years in the country. Married to Brigitte Pinet, native of Canada, aged 33 years.  They have one son and four daughters: Louis Vallet, aged 18 months; Margueritte, aged 17 years; Louise, aged 9 years; Rose, aged 7 years; Marie, aged 5 years.  In live stock they have five oxen, one cow, one calf, one mare with colt, three wethers, eight ewes, three sows, four pigs, and ten fowls or chickens.  The land upon which they are settled is situated on the west side of the Rivière de Peugiguit.  They acquired it for the sum of 70 livres from Michel Hébert. They have made a clearing on it where they have sown six bushels of wheat and two bushels of peas, and have fallow land sufficient for the sowing of thirty bushels this coming spring.
