First wife Anne Dugas was born Abt. 1683 at Port Royal, Acadia, and died Abt. 1710 in Acadia.  They were married Abt. 1704 in Acadia.

- 1752 Ile St. Jean census (Ance a Pinet): Pierre Dugas, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 43 years, he has been on the island one year.  Married to Elizabeth Bourg, native of l'Acadie, aged 40 years.  They have three sons and five daughters: Jean Dugas, aged 16 years; Pierre, aged 6 years; Prosper, aged 1 year; Marie, aged 18 years; Marie Joseph, aged 15 years; Elizabeth, aged 13 years; Ainesse, aged 11 years; Ozitte, aged 10 years;

[no live stock listed]  The land upon which they are settled is situated on the south side of Ance à Pinet. It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. They have made a clearing on it for the sowing of two bushels of wheat in the coming spring.

- 16 January 1759: Pierre Dugast, wife Elizabeth Bourg, and children Pierre, Prosper, Remy, Elizabeth, Agnes & Marguerite Josephe disembarked at St. Malo from the ship du Tamerian.  They lived in St. Suliac 1759-1772.
