Jean Hebert was born 29 April 1708 at Grand Pre, Acadia, and died 2 April 1774 at St. Suliac, Bretagne, France.  Burial was 3 April 1774 at St. Suliac, Ille-et-Vilaine, France.

 

First wife (Marie) Madeleine Doiron was born 17 April 1710 at Grand Pre, Acadia, and died Abt. 1750 on Ile St. Jean.  They were married Abt. 1730 in Acadia.

- 1752: Victor & Catherine were residents of Grande Anse on Ile St. Jean.

- 9 March 1759: Victor, wife Catherine, Joseph, Helene & Madeleine disembarked at St. Malo from the ship du Supply.  They lived in St. Suliac 1759-1765 & St. Servan 1766-1772.

- Victor married Genevieve Richard in 1773 and went to LA on La Ville d’Archangel in 1785.

Notes for Pierre Hebert:

- Pierre, wife Anne, Pierre & Elizabeth disembarked at St. Malo 9 March 1759 from the ship du Supply.  They were in Chateauneuf 1759-1760, then Anne moved to St. Servan 1760-1770.  She remarried Jean Baptiste Hebert, but again widowed arrived in LA in 1785 on Le Beaumont with only her son Jean Charles 13.

Notes for Jean Hebert:

- 1752 census Ile St. Jean, Grande Anse: Jean Hebert, ploughman, native of l'Acadie, aged 42 years, he has been two years on the island. Married Veronique Sire, native of l'Acadie, aged 23 years.  They have three sons and four daughters: Pierre Hebert, aged 17 years, Joseph, aged 4 years, Jean Baptiste, aged 3 years, Marie, aged 16 years, Margueritte, aged 15 years, Anne, aged 9 years, Roze, aged 7 years.  And in stock six oxen, six cows, two calves, and one pig.  The land upon which they are settled is situated at the farther end of the Grande Anse. It was given to them verbally by Monsieur de Bonnaventure. They have made a clearing on it of one arpent square.

- 9 March 1759, Jean Hebert, wife Veronique, his children Rose, Jean Baptiste, Joseph Ignace, and their daughter Marguerite Tarsile, disembarked at St. Malo from the ship du Supply.  Jean and Veronique lived in St. Suliac until their deaths in 1774 and 1759 respectively.
