- 1701: In The Tribute Book of 1701 (Rothenberg, Germany), Johann Conrad Friderich and Jorg Freulich must pay 10 1/2 schillings for their house and possessions. Half goes toward building the city wall and half goes to Mr. Heinrich Erle.
- The family left Rotenberg (probably due to John Law's promotion of the New World), and by 8 October 1720 were in Lorient awaiting passage to America. (On this date JCF was a witness to the burial of a German Thomas Kik who died the day before at the tents. Their arrival in Louisiana is unknown but a son died December 1722 in district between Chapitoulas & Pointe Coupee.
- 12 November 1724 Census of German villages on Miss. R., Hoffen 10 leagues above N.O. on right bank descending: Conrad Frederic, 50, native of Rotemberg, Bishopric of Spire, Roman Catholic, Laborer; his wife; 5 children, the eldest, a girl, is 18, the youngest a boy of 5. His terrain is not fixed; he is on it only since the waters have receded. He is there already barricaded and has started to clear the land in order to harvest there rice and corn of a sufficient amount to support his family; harvested 25 barrels of grain; good worker.
- 1 January 1726 census: Living at the German Village, married, 5 children, 6 arpents cleared.
- 1 July 1727 census: left bank ascending: married, 4 children
- 1731: At Allemands, wife, 1 child, 1 ‘engage’, 2 Negroes.
