- Obituary: New Orleans States (N.O., LA), Saturday, 28 July 1934: Funeral services were held at 8 o'clock Saturday morning for Henry Arcement of 917 Dolhonde street, Gretna, who was found murdered at 5 o'clock Friday morning in the office of Jules Myronne Sons, Fourth and Dolhonde streets, where he was employed as night watchman. The remains were conveyed by auto to Thibodaux, where interment will be made. Arcement was 54 years old, a native of Labadieville and resident of Gretna for 22 years. He is survived by his wife, who was the former Miss Henrietta Guillot, and eight children, Paul, Ferdinand, Junius, Roland, Edward and Marian Arcement, Mrs. Charles Blank and Mrs. Henry Tabyanan; also a number of grandchildren.

Services from Mothe Funeral Homes Inc., 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, La., on Thursday, October 22, 1964, at 9 o'clock a.m. Requiem High Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Marrero, La. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Thibodaux, La., at 12 noon. Parlors will be open Wednesday, October 21, 1964 at 3 p.m.
