-- Mary Ross Richardson b: 12 April 1933 New Orleans, LA, d. 28 December 2019 New Orleans, LA (burial: Le Sassier family plot); married William J. Berridge (1919-2013).  Times Picayune, Monday, 19 February 1962: Mr. and Mrs. John Benjamin Richardson announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Miss Mary Ross Richardson, to Mr. Louis Allan Goldstein, son of Mr. and Mrs. Moise Herbert Goldstein.  The wedding will take place May 5 and will be solemnized at noon in the Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus.  Following the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Richardson will entertain at a reception at their Palmer ave. home for only the immediate members of both families.  Miss Richardson, whose mother is the former Miss Mary Ross LeBourgeois, was graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart.  She later attended Maryville college of the Sacred Heart in St. Louis, Mo., and was graduated from Loyola university of the South.  She also attended the graduate school of social work at Tulane university for a year.  As a member of the school set, the bride-elect took part as a court maid in Les Pierrettes ball and several Carnival seasons ago she was a court maid in the Knights of Momus ball.  Mr. Goldstein, whose mother was Miss Lois Frances Goetter, attended Metairie Park Country Day school and was graduated from Isidore Newman school.  He did undergraduate work at the University of Pennsylvania and Tulane and received a master's degree in architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute.  He was a member of Phi Epsilon Pi fraternity at the University of Pennsylvania.  During World War II he served with the United States Army Corps of Engineers in the Phillipine Islands.  Times Picayune, Thursday, 3 May 1962:  The wedding of Miss Mary Ross Richardson and Mr. Louis Allan Goldstein, which was to have been celebrated Saturday, has been indefinitely postponed.

Times Picayune (N.O.), Tuesday, 25 June 1968:  Miss Mary Ross Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Richardson, leaves this Tuesday for Dallas, Tex., to spend about 10 days visiting her brother-in-law and sister, Dr. and Mrs. Minor L. Huck.  She will be accompanied by her young niece, Mary Minor Huck, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Huck, who has been in New Orleans visiting her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Richardson.  Miss Richardson will be accompanied home by another niece, Laurie Huck, who is coming also to visit her grandparents.

 

-- Emma Lew Richardson b. 12 July 1936 New Orleans, LA, d. 31 December 2018 Dallas, TX (burial: Sparkman Hillcrest Memorial Park, Dallas, TX).  Times Picayune, Sunday, 3 November 1957:  The attendants have been selected for the marriage of Miss Emma Lew Richardson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Benjamin Richardson, to Mr. Minor Lewis Huck, son of Mr. and Mrs. Laurie Meriwether Huck of San Antonio, Tex.  The wedding will take place Dec. 21 at high noon in the Church of the Most Holy Name of Jesus.  A reception will follow at 2833 St. Charles ave.  Miss Richardson has chosen as her maid of honor her sister, Miss Mary Ross Richardson.  The bridesmaids will include Miss Cornelia Huck, sister of the prospective bridegroom, and Misses Diane Nalty, Mary Ellen de la Houssaye and Winifred Viguerie.  The bridegroom-to-be's attendants will be announced later.
