Minnesota Resources

There seems to have been a small contingent of Pitres who eventually moved south into Minnesota.  From what I have found thus far they were using Lajambe as the surname.  I believe them to be from the same family.

There is another Pitre who was also originally from Quebec, but first moved to Maine and then to Minnesota:  Joseph Pitre, son of Etienne Pitre & Judith Gallant.

There is one who arrived but did not stay, and resisted being identified.

Ignace Pitre (Lajambe) - from Quebec to Minnesota to North Dakota
