Obituary:  The Town Talk (Alexandria, LA), Sunday, 31 October 1993:  Oberlin - Services for Wesley Pitre will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Ardoin's with the Rev. Albert Wayne Borel officiating.  Burial will be in Green Oak Cemetery.  Pitre, 82, of Oberlin died at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 1993, in Oakdale Community Hospital, Oakdale.  He was a retired painter and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and Painters Local No. 783.  Survivors include his wife, Pearl L. Pitre of Oberlin; three sons, Morris J. Pitre of Oberlin, Charles Edward Pitre of Topsy and Robert Wayne Pitre of Lake Charles; two daughters, Donnel Muller of Boyce and Gerdie Pitre of Oberlin; one brother, Hardy Pitre of Indian Village; one sister, Pearl Fontenot of DeQuincy; 26 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.  A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home.  Friends may call after 10 a.m. today and until time of services Monday in the funeral home.

Pitre, 86, of Oberlin died Friday, Aug. 11, 2000, in Savoy Medical Center.  She was a native and lifelong resident of Oberlin and a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.  Arrangements will be announced by Ardoin, Oberlin.

Pitre:  Lake Charles American Press (Lake Charles, LA):  Oberlin - Funeral services for Morris Pitre Sr., 58, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 27, from St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Green Oak Cemetery under direction of Ardoin Funeral Home.  Mr. Pitre died at 2 a.m. Wednesday March 26, l997, in the Mamou hospital.
