Obituary:  Ogdensburg Advance, Thursday, 23 November 1911, Brasher Falls: William P. Lashomb who lives in what is called Harmony died on Monday.  He has been a great sufferer and has had difficult operations during the past few years.  We understand it was a cancer in the stomach.  He was a hard working man and has a nice farm dwelling and was comfortably situated. 
- St. Lawrence Republican (NY), Wednesday 29 November 1911:  North Lawrence - William Lashomb who lived north of this village, died at his home Monday afternoon after a long illness.  He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and seven children, also brothers and sisters and his mother, all of whom have our sympathy.  The funeral services were held at the R.C. church here, Rev. St. Jacques, officiating.


- In Oswegatchie, St. Lawrence, NY, on 11 December 1911, will of William Lashomb proved.  Administration granted to Levi Youmell.  Accounts settled on 6 December 1913.  Estate granted to Eliza Lashomb on 25 March 1914.

Obituary:  Rochester Democrat and Chronicle (NY), Wednesday, 9 February 1955:  LA SHOMB - Mary Elizabeth of Henrietta, Feb. 6, 1955 in her 84th year.  She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. George Leary and Mrs. Jerome Gagnon of Henrietta, Mrs. Henry Kirchoff of Rochester and Mrs. Adan Van Vranken of Spotswood, New Jersey; two sons, Albert La Shomb of Henrietta and Leo La Shomb of Rochester; a brother, Albert Le Clair of Ohio; eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.  Friends may call at Holla-Leary Funeral Home, 1256 Mt. Hope Ave. between the hours of 2-5 and 7-9:30 where services will be held Wednesday morning, Feb. 9 at 8:30 and at the Church of the Good Shepard, Henrietta, N.Y. at 9 o'clock.  Interment, St. Paul of the Cross Cemetery, Honeoye Falls, N.Y.

Charlotte Elisabeth Lashomb:  The Orlando Sentinel (Orlando, FL), Tuesday, 7 December 1982:  Mrs. Charlotte Van Vranken Von Ekwall, 88, 933 Port Malabar Blvd., Palm Bay, died Saturday.  Born in St. Lawrence County, N.Y., she moved to Palm Bay from New York in 1962.  She was a schoolteacher for 40 years in New York and New Jersey Public Schools.  She was a 30-year member of the National Audubon Society, former member of the League of Women Voters, and former member Business and Professional Women of Freehold, N.J.  Survivors:  daughter, Mrs. Pauline E. Hahn, Cherry Creek, N.Y.; sons, Bruce Stoddard, Riverview, and Donald Nichols, Melbourne; sister, Mrs. Myra Kerchoff, Mrs. Ester Leary and Mrs. Marion Gagnon, of Rochester, N.Y.  Brownlie and Maxwell Funeral Home, Melbourne.
