Obituary: Peters - The death occurred at the Souris Hospital on June 28, 1984 of Wilfred Peters of St. Charles, aged 82 years. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home. Funeral to be held on Saturday morning to St. Charles Church with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Visiting hours Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Lucy Peters: The Hamilton Spectator (Hamilton, ONT), Monday, 21 December 2009: Kelly, Lucy. Passed away suddenly at McMaster University Medical Centre on December 20, 2009. She will be deeply missed by her beloved husband Earl, her daughters Debbie (Alistair), Cleo and Janet (John), her granddaughters Julie (Matt), and Jessica (Dave), and her great-grandchildren, Tyson, Sophie and Grace. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at the Marlatt Funeral Home, Dundas on Tuesday, December 29th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
Frederick Augustus Peters: The Hamilton Spectator (Hamilton, ONT), Friday, 10 September 2010: (photo) Peters, Frederick Augustus, October 12, 1932 - September 9, 2010. A great man died today. Fred passed away surrounded by his loving family, at the Henderson General Hospital, in his 78th year. Always loved and forever remembered by his beloved wife of 55 years, Bertha. Very proud father to his daughters Gail Legato and her husband Ron and Shelley Merkel and her husband Brad. Devoted, patient and interested grandfather to Andrea, Jonathan, Colin, Jeff and Stephen. Sincere gratitude in remembering his two dear friends Aubrey Rogerson and the late Elmer Carew. Fred was a man of integrity, compassion and love, and was extremely passionate and philosophical about life and all its mysteries. A service to celebrate Fred's life will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Hamilton, on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends to share their memories of Fred from 6 p.m. on Saturday evening. Donations in memory of Fred to the Palliative Care Unit at the Juravinski Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

Loving father to Karen (Tom) of Calgary, Judy (Don), Ronnie (Karen) of Smithville, Ont., Randy (Sarah) of Truro, Ricky (Cathy), Ivan (Michelle) and Stephen (Donna) all of PEI. Proud grandfather to Kaitlin, Erin, Ryan, Riley, Nikki, Megan, Eric, Dylan, Jordon, Cory, Matt, Harley, Jesse and Faith. Also left to mourn are brothers Freddie (Bertha) of Hamilton, Ont., Walter (Laura) of Coldlake, AB, sisters Lucy (Earl) Kelly of Lynden, Ont., Viola (late Frank) Sheehan. Predeceased by sister Mary MacPherson and parents Wilfred and Julienne Peters. Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home Souris for visiting hours on Sunday 7-9 pm and Monday from 12 noon until time of the funeral. Funeral to be held Monday afternoon from St Charles Church with funeral mass to be celebrated at 2 pm. Internment in the church cemetery.
