Obituary:  Times Picayune, 17 June 1970:  William Frank Pitre at Raceland, La., on Tuesday, June 16, 1970 at 1:15 o'clock a.m.  Beloved husband of Bessie Falgout; brother of Henry Pitre of Raceland, La., and Joseph Pitre of Galliano, La.; son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Pitre.  Age 62 years, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Raceland, La.  Relatives and friends of the family, also officers, employees of Inez Sako Nursing Homes Inc., of Raceland and Houma, La., are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Falgout Funeral Homes, Inc., Raceland, La., on Wednesday, June 17, 1970, at 9:30 o'clock a.m.  Religious services at St. Hillary Catholic Church at Mathews, La., at 10:00 a.m.  Interment Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery, Lockport, La.  Falgout Funeral Homes Inc., Raceland, La., in charge.

Obituary:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Tuesday, 16 November 2010:  Bessie Falgout Pitre, 97, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Raceland, died at 5:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010.  Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church.  Mass will be held at noon Wednesday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.  She is survived by 19 nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pitre; her parents, Charles and Agusta Breaux Falgout; one brother, Harris "Bud" Falgout Sr.; and three sisters, Alida F. Alario, Elmire F. Louviere and Inez F. Rizan Sako.  Samart-Mothe of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
