Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), Tuesday, 16 November 2010: Bessie
Falgout Pitre, 97, a native of Golden Meadow and a resident of Raceland,
died at 5:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.
to funeral time Wednesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church. Mass
will be held at noon Wednesday at the church, with burial in Holy Savior
Catholic Cemetery. She is survived by 19 nieces and nephews. She was
preceded in death by her husband, William Pitre; her parents, Charles
and Agusta Breaux Falgout; one brother, Harris "Bud" Falgout Sr.; and
three sisters, Alida F. Alario, Elmire F. Louviere and Inez F. Rizan Sako.
Samart-Mothe of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
