Obituary: Detroit Free Press (Detroit, MI), Thursday, 20 September 1923: William Peters, 44 years old, 6813 Iroquois avenue, died in Receiving hospital Wednesday night of injuries sustained Saturday when he was struck by a street car at Van Dyke and Marquis avenues. Death was due to internal injuries. Peters stepped in front of the car apparently without seeing it.
