Obituary Peets: Massena - Vern R. Peets, age 91, passed away on May 14, 2021 at the Massena Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. The family has entrusted the Phillips Memorial Home in Massena with the care and handling of Vern Peets. There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Verna M. Peets: Mrs. Hyde died Monday, March 24, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse after an illness with cancer. She is survived by her parents, Marie and Vern Peets of Massena, and a sister, Betty Ann Monetti of St. Petersburg, FL. Born August 1, 1950, in Massena, NY, the daughter of Vern and Marie (Deshaies) Peets, she moved to Syracuse, where she was employed as a secretary and later as office manager at the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation for New York state in Syracuse until her illness. She was a communicant of St. Agnes Church in Brewerton.
