Obituary:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), 12 August 1970:  Vallery J. Pitre Sr., on Tuesday, August 11, 1970 at 2:30 o'clock a.m., husband of the late Thelma K. Bonck, father of Mrs. Shirley Mae Gillory, Carroll A., Vallery J. Jr., and Marvin Pitre; brother of the late Adam Pitre, Eva Falgout and Annie Muscarello, son of the late Valeri Pontiff and Harris Pitre, also survived by 1 grandchild, age 65 years, a native of Berwick, La., and a resident of this city for the past 45 years.  Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Times-Picayune Publishing Corp., Electric Delivery Service, Southern Memorial Co., Pontchartrain Motor Co. and Liberty Bell Cab Co., are invited to attend the funeral.  Services from Lamana-Panno-Fallo Inc., 625 N. Marvin Raymond Pitre:  Death Notice:  Times Picayune (New Orleans, LA), Wednesday, 19 February 1992:  A New Orleans man was killed Tuesday when the automobile he was driving rear-ended an 18-wheeler in St. Charles Parish, State Police said.  Marvin Pitre, 52, of 4831 Sherwood Drive, was driving a Ford Probe east on Interstate 10 over the Bonnet Carre spillway shortly before 7 p.m., Trooper Al Majeau said.  The tractor-trailer was also in motion, heading east, police.
