Obituary: Tallahassee Democrat (FL), Friday, 10 January 1992: Perry - Ollie Pridgeon, 77, of Perry died Thursday at Tallahassee Memorial Regional Medical Center. The service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Joe P. Burns Funeral Home in Perry. A lifelong resident of Taylor County, she was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Perry. Survivors include a son, Vernon Peters of Salem; four daughters, Betty Gonzalez of Rockwell, Texas, Verlyn Balkcom of Ponce de Leon, Martha Anderson of Salem and Charlotte Cannon of Perry; a brother, Roosevelt Murphy of Tarpon Springs; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
