Warren Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), May 1994:  A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Luling for Warren J. Pitre Sr., 72, a native of Raceland and resident of Luling, who died at 2:10 p.m. Thursday, May 26.  Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.  He was the husband of Josephine Dempster Pitre of Luling; father of Warren J. Pitre Jr. of Westwego, Joseph P. Pitre of Catawissa, Mo., Peggy Friloux of Paradis and Mary Ann Fremen of Luling; brother of Russell Meyers, Dorothy Mae Daigle and Barbara Ann Bourgeois.  He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Sr. and Blanche Gaudet Pitre; and three brothers, Curren and Thomas Pitre II and Larry Meyers.  He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.  He was also a member of VFW Post No. 3750 of Luling and Plumbers & Steamfitters Local No. 60.  Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland was in charge of arrangements.

Thomas Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), December 1993: Thomas Pitre Jr. - A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church in Raceland for Thomas Joseph Pitre Jr., 69, a native of Raceland and a resident of Luling, who died at 7:38 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 5.  Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland.  Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park in Avondale.  He was the husband of Florence Thibodaux Pitre; father of Johnny Pitre of Cleveland, Tenn., Dick and Thomas Pitre III, Hope Zeller and Marilyn Farrell, all of Luling, Joyce Horn of Ama, Jane Ogea of Baton Rouge, Helen Thigpen of Gretna and Carolyn Andrews of Mansfield; brother of Warren Pitre of Luling, Dorothy Daigle of Raceland and Barbara Bourgeois of Lockport; half brother of Russell Myers of Jackson.  He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas Pitre Sr. and Blanch Gaudet Pitre Myers; a brother, Curren Pitre; and a half brother, Larry Myers.  He was a member of V.F.W. 3750 and the Military Order of the Purple Heart.  Falgout Funeral Homes of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 19 November 2001:  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland for Dorothy Pitre Daigle, 70, a native and resident of Raceland, who died at 5:05 a.m. Nov. 19, 2001.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time at the church.  Burial will be at the church cemetery.  She was the mother of Jerry, Carl, Emile Jr., Barry, Terry and Darrel Daigle, Cerita Arceneaux, Deborah Rodriguez, Bonnie Toups, and Marlene Daigle; sister of Barbara Bourgeois; and half-sister of Russell Meyer.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Emile Daigle Sr.; parents, Thomas and Blanche Gaudet Pitre; brothers, Warren, Thomas Jr., and Curren Pitre; half-brother, Larry Meyer; and a grandchild.  She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Nativity Catholic Church.  Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.

Barbara Ann Pitre:  Lafourche Daily Comet (LA), 19 February 2008:  Barbara Pitre Bourgeois, 74, a native of Raceland and resident of Lockport, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008.  Funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. today at Holy Savior Catholic Church in Lockport.  She is survived by one son, Wayne Bourgeois; one daughter, Darlene Bourgeois Boudreaux; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bourgeois; five brothers, Russell Meyers, Larry Meyers, Thomas Pitre, Warren Pitre and Curen Pitre; and one sister, Dorothy Pitre.  She was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church.  Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
