Marie Jacqueline Pitre:  Chedore, Jacqueline Marie “Nee Pitre”, November 11, 1937 - November 9, 2023:  It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Marie on November 9, 2023 at the age of 85.  Reunited with her husband Maynard.  Loving mother to Carol Ann (Bob), Alan (Tammy), Gary (Annette), Mike (Debbie), Lynda (Dennis) and predeceased by son Baby John and parents Amedee and Pauline.  Cherished Nanny to Renee (Rino), Jerrod (Amber), Jocelyn (Daniel), Julie (Sean), Jenna (Bryce), Kaili (Darryl), Jordan, Chelsey (Andrew) Roger (Brittany), Bruce, Candice (Mitchell), Kendra (Salvatore), Alyssa (Makenzie), Anthony, Daniel and predeceased by Bradley.  Great-Nanny of 17 great-grandchildren.  Jacqueline was the oldest of 12 children and will be remembered by many family and friends.  Her biggest joy was spending time and cherished memories with her family and drinking hot King Cole tea.  Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel, Windsor, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 from 10am until Chapel Service at 11am.  Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.  If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of your choice.

Therese Clarice Pitre:  Winnipeg Free Press (MAN), 1 May 2007:  Theresa Stokes (1945 - 2007)  Theresa passed away in her sleep at Health Sciences Centre, Winnipeg at 5:00 a.m., April 29, 2007.  Theresa is survived by her loving husband Leonard; her three children, Gail (Jorge), Richard, and Karen and four grandchildren, Jordan, Kris, Nicholas and Hayden; sisters, Jackie Chedore, Yvette Legacy (Ernest), Rolande Legacy, Rose Lurette (John) and Marie Ann Malley (Leo); and brothers, Roland Pitre (Rose), Yvon Pitre, Claude Pitre, Michel Pitre (Annette), Jacques Pitre (Pauline).  She will be sadly missed by all.  Theresa was born in Campbellton, NB and lived there until 1965 when she married her husband Leonard and moved to Germany for three years.  As a military family moves to Dartmouth, NS; Gander, NF, Gagetown, NB, Gander, NF, Winnipeg, MB and Greenwood, NS followed.  In 1991 the family permanently settled in Winnipeg.  She enjoyed every location and travelled extensively on family vacations.  She enjoyed meeting people and brought joy to many with her bubbly personality and her smile.  The family would like to thank all the staff of the Manitoba Cancer Clinic and the Health Sciences Centre with special thanks to Dr. James Johnston and nurse Erin Elphee for Theresa's treatment and compassionate care.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, with reception to follow.  Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Winnipeg in Theresa's memory.  Arrangements entrusted to: Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
