Misc.:  Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Wednesday, 12 December 1906:  At. St. Ann's Church, Nov. 27th, John Peters, son of Solomon Peters, was united in marriage to Miss Albina Faure, adopted daughter of Mrs. F. Peters, of St. Mary's.  The bride was attended by Miss Emma Gallant, and Napoleon Peters, of Boston, Mass., supported the groom.  The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. McAuley.  A reception was held in the evening at the home of the groom.  The presents were numerous and of value, attesting the favor in which both bride and groom are held.

Bernard Pitre:  The Boston Globe (MA), Monday, 7 May 1945:  Peters - In Hingham, May 5, formerly of West Newton, Bernard, beloved husband of Bessie (Riley) Peters.  Funeral from his late residence, 160 Wompatuck rd., Tuesday, May 8, at 8:30 a.m.  Solemn Requiem High Mass at St. Paul's Church at 9 a.m.  Relatives and frineds respectfully invited.

 

Solomon Pitre:  Boston Globe (MA), Friday, 6 March 1970:  Peters - Of Waltham, March 4, Solomon (Sam), husband of the late Catherine (Doiron), father of Paul E., Joseph W., Mrs. Florence Dorney, Mrs. Ida Murphy, all of Waltham, and Mrs. Rita Alexander of Newton.  Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.  Funeral from the F.J. Joyce and Son Funeral Home, 552 Main st., Saturday, March 7, at 8:15 a.m.  Requiem Mass at St. Mary's Church at 9 a.m.  Relatives and friends invited.  Visiting hours Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
