Misc.: Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), Wednesday, 12 December 1906: At. St. Ann's Church, Nov. 27th, John Peters, son of Solomon Peters, was united in marriage to Miss Albina Faure, adopted daughter of Mrs. F. Peters, of St. Mary's. The bride was attended by Miss Emma Gallant, and Napoleon Peters, of Boston, Mass., supported the groom. The ceremony was performed by Rev. A. McAuley. A reception was held in the evening at the home of the groom. The presents were numerous and of value, attesting the favor in which both bride and groom are held.
Obituaries for the children:
Delphine Pitre: Charlottetown Guardian (PEI), 21 September 1953: The community of North Rustico and surrounding districts were saddened on learning of the death of Mrs. Stanis Doiron on May 16, at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Amos Blacquiere. Although in failing health for some time, her death came as a shock to her family and her many friends for to know her was to love her. Left to mourn her loss are her sorrowing husband, four sons and four daughters, namely, Jack, a patient in the Provincial Sanatorium, James, living in North Rustico, William in Charlottetown, Edgar in Labrador. The daughters are, (Annie), Mrs. Amos Blacquiere; (Clara) Mrs. Eddie Gallant, Moncton, N.B.; (Marion), Mrs. Clarence Gallant, Mayfield; (Isabel), Mrs. Ronald Gallant, North Rustico. Her largely attended funeral was held May 18 in Stella Maris Church. The Solemn High Mass was said by Rev. Eric Robin. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Messrs. James Doiron, William Doiron, Clarence Gallant, Ronald Gallant, Ernest Gallant and Cyrus Pineau.
