Misc.: Saskatoon Daily Star (SASK), Monday, 7 May 1928: Tourist camp is praised in city – Stanley Pitre, Winnipeg, motoring to Alberta, enjoys his stay here – High praise for the tourist camp system, and in particular the local camp which is provided by the Saskatoon Motor Club, was voiced by Stanley Pitre, of Winnipeg, who is motoring through the prairies to St. Paul de Metis, Alberta. Mr. Pitre, who has just recently resigned his position as principal in one of the Winnipeg collegiates, stated that he intended taking up a homestead in Alberta. Accident report: Winnipeg Free Press, Monday, 20 December 1948: Edmonton, Dec. 20 - R.C.M.P. in Edmonton Saturday reported two traffic accidents which killed one man and injured three others. Magistrate Stanley Pitre, 69, of St. Paul, Alta, was killed on a St. Paul street when hit by an automobile. St. Paul is about 100 miles northeast of Edmonton.
Obituary: Winnipeg Free Press, 28 December 1948 - Requiem mass for Stanislas Pitre, 70, former police magistrate and judge of juvenile court in St. Paul, Alta., was sung by Father Guy Michaud in St. Paul cathedral Dec. 21. An R.C.M.P. detachment in full dress served as guard of honor. Burial took place in the St. Paul Roman Catholic cemetery. Mr. Pitre, who died as a result of a car accident Dec. 17, was born at Bloomfield, P.E.I. in 1878. Moving to Winnipeg in 1905, he served as principal of Glenwood school and Windsor school in St. Vital between 1921 and 1928. In 1928, Mr. Pitre went to Alberta and was a resident of St. Paul until the time of his death. Surviving are his widow Ursula; three sons Wilfred of Vancouver, B.C., Emmanuel and Adrian of St. Paul; seven daughters Mrs. Rose St. Pierre of Edmonton, Alta., Mrs. Fidelis Lambert, Mrs. Stella Tremblay, Mrs. Marie Bouder, Mrs. Florence Lefevre, Mrs. Lucille Fagnau, and Mrs. Therese Gacamache all of St. Paul; four brothers Joseph of Lac du Bonnet, Man., Ben of Winnipeg, Harvey of Little Rock, Ark., Paul in California, and 25 grandchildren. Mr. Pitre was a member of the Knights of Columbus council No. 2715, St. Paul. Pallbearers were six sons-in-law, Albert St. Pierre, Roland Lefevre, Albert Tremblay, Walter Lambert, Lucien Gacamache, and Carl Bouder.

Emmanuel Fabien Pitre: Edmonton Journal (Alberta): Emmanuel F. Pitre passed away peacefully with his wife at his side on Wednesday, April 6, 1999 at the wonderful age of 91 years, at Mission Memorial Hospital, Mission, B.C. Manny is survived by his loving wife of nearly 60 years, Mary; one daughter, Germaine St. Paul of Edmonton; four grandchildren, Matteo Caratozzolo of Burnaby, B.C., Antonino Caratozzolo of Los Angeles, California, Marco Caratozzolo of Vancouver, B.C. and Christina Caratozzolo of Edmonton, Alberta; one great-grandchild, Cesare Neill-St. Clair of Parksville, B.C.; one brother, Adrien Pitre and five sisters, Rose St. Pierre, Stella Cyr, Lucille Fagnan, Florence Lefebvre and Therese Gamache. Predeceased by sisters, Phyllis Lambert and Marie Bauder, and brother, Wilfred Pitre. Manny is also survived by many friends, nieces and nephews. She was our finest Rose and loved by everyone she touched. She will truly be remembered for her fine arts, painting, piano and voice and her zest for life. She leaves behind her children: Louise (Bill) Murphy, George St. Pierre, Michel St. Pierre, Madeleine Anderson and Jeannette (Jan) Croome, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, sisters: Stella, Lucille, Florence and Therese and brother Adrian. She was predeceased by her husband Albert, brothers Wilfred and Manny and sisters Phyllis and Marie. Rose was from Acadian descent, and was well known in the French community. A liturgy Mass was held Saturday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1996, in Paradise. Mrs. Lambert was born Jan. 18, 1912, in Mackinack, Manitoba, Canada to Stanislaus and Ursula Pitre. In 1936, she married Walter Lambert. A homemaker, Mrs. Lambert was also a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Walter, of Paradise; four daughters, Sylvia Melrose of Forestville, Louise Lambert and Maralyn Holmes, both of Santa Rosa, and Doris Petersen of San Ramon; two sons, Denis Lambert of Novato and Loyd Lambert of Houston, Texas; five sisters, Rose, Stella, Florence, Lucille and Therese of Canada; three brothers, Wilfrid, Manny and Adrien of Canada; and 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Burial will follow the service. Arrangements are under the direction of Paradise Chapel of the Pines.

He is survived and will be lovingly missed by his 3 sisters, Florence, Lucille and Therese and by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and great, great, great nephew, as well as his wonderful friends, who will remember the many great stories he shared. Lucille Ellen Marie Pitre: Fagnan, Lucille Ellen Marie 1923-2018: After 94 years lived as the embodiment of love and devotion to her faith, her family and her friends, Lucille Ellen Marie Fagnan (nee Pitre, St. Boniface, MB, October 4, 1923) left this world for eternal glory on January 25, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Walter, her two eldest children Annette (Jim) and Guy (Yvonne), two infant children, Jocelyne and Andre-Michel, as well as eight siblings. She will be forever remembered by her sister Therese, her five sons and their wives/partners Remi (Wendy), Pierre (Marica), Real (Shila), Richard (Cheryl) and Laurier (Jane), 22 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren as well as a large extended family. They will miss her every day as they seek to carry on her loving example. May the Lord bless her and keep her, may He make His face to shine upon her and give her His eternal peace. A bilingual Funeral Mass in celebration of Lucille's life will take place at St. thomas d'Aquin Catholic Church on Monday, February 5 at 7:00 p.m.

She leaves her beautiful legacy of 'la joie de vivre' to her children Raymond (Donna), Claude, Angie (Dave), Suzanne, Robert (Joan) and Bernadette, her 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Therese had a real zest for life - faith and family were her foundation - life on Vancouver Island her joy. Memorial Mass at 11:00 January 11, 2020 at St Rose of Lima Church, Sooke, BC.
