(St. John, NB), Monday, 20 July 1964: Bathurst - The death of Mrs.
Mary Legacy, widow of Alex Legacy of South Tetagouche, occurred
Friday evening in Hotel Dieu here. She was 70. Born at South
Tetagouche, a daughter of the late Stephen Pitre and Eileen Doucet, she
is survived by six sons, Benjamin, Wilfred, Richard, South Tetagouche;
Arthur, St. Ann's Settlement, and Stanley and Edward of Montreal;
three daughters, Mrs. Stanley Daigle, South Tetagouche, and Mrs.
Wallace Dobbins and Mrs. Fred Daigle of St. Ann's; one brother, Adelard
Pitre of South Nelson. The body rested at the Hogan Funeral Home from
where the funeral will be held this morning at 9 o'clock to the Roman Catholic
Church in South Tetagouche. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
